One of last aluminum pieces of the Baffling to be prepared and installed is the CB-00034 Right Air Ramp Cone. Here it is clecoed into place on the Right FWD Assembly.
Now, this piece started out as a flat piece of aluminum. If you look closely in the white circle, there is a bending template that was glued to the back of the part. There was a total of 10 individual bend lines to get the finished shape of the Cone. It wasn’t overly difficult, it just took a little finesse to get it to fit properly.

Here is what the Cone looks like after completing the bending. I think it turned out pretty good.

Now, the Right Air Ramp Cone was removed and treated with alumiprep and alodine. After that dried, I sprayed it with Akzo primer and the silver epoxy paint. And it was ultimately riveted into place on the Baffling (guess what, I don’t have a picture).
